Your mission
As our new Automation Engineering Intern (m/f/d) at sewts, you will gain professional experience in the field of PLC software development and automation engineering.
We are searching for motivated team members, who are naturally enthusiastic and curious to learn more about the end-to-end PLC development process, from designing, analyzing and implementing to continuously improving the functioning and systems of highly specialized robots. You will be an integral part of our dedicated Hardware Team, who are the experts in deploying complete automation systems. You will be closely working with a cross-functional team of mechanical and mechatronics engineers, with a vision to deliver full and individualized automation of garment production sustainably. How you will be creating an impact with us:
- Gaining Knowledge: You will acquire practical knowledge of Mechanical systems, sensors, actuators, robotics and other components crucial to automation systems;
- Designing and Developing: You will automate modules or solutions using your background in engineering, as well as develop and assemble Prototypes for testing;
- Collaborating and Supporting: You will intensively support the team to test automation systems, collect and analyze data, and propose design improvements based on your findings;
- Contributing and Constructing: You will contribute towards the assembly and construction of machines and systems, learning the ins and outs of the general machine building environment;
- Personal Passion Projects: You will be able to take on new and innovative projects with our Hardware Team, for example, the identification of new hardware technology for automation.
