Your mission

At sewts we automate what others can’t. Gripping of deformable materials like textiles is a task most humans see as intuitive and simple. However, this is a complicated task for robots as they lack the detailed and contextual understanding of where and with what level of sensitivity to handle these textiles. As deep-tech enthusiasts, we teach industrial robots human perception skills.

We are building a foundational technology stack called sewts.JUPITER. JUPITER uses genAI to simulate realistically the behavior of deformable & soft objects to create corresponding computer vision models and grabbing strategies. Based on our physical AI first time ever robots get enabled to handle soft & deformable materials. With over €10M in funding we will bring automation into all untapped industries, like cloth manufacturing, textiles handling, recycling & e-commerce.

You will be an integral part of our Product Teams, which is responsible for bringing a highly performant physical AI & Robotics platform, specialized on deformable materials, to life. It runs in all our robotic products, which comprises a framework to train AI models, a middleware to run a configurable pipeline including AI models, computer vision algorithms on an edge device, and a user interface for configuration, calibration, and monitoring.

As our new Product Owner (m/f/d) for VELUM, VESTIS and JUPITER, you will be an integral part of our team. You will be fully responsible for developing roadmaps for our product, analyzing market and customer needs as well as guiding the development team to maximize product value. You will work closely with our management to allot needed budget and coordinate the product development roadmap, reported to the board. You will also be creating user-stories and coordinating with the development team to prioritize feature development as a part of your job. As an interface between customers, stakeholders and developers you align them to the same goal.

How you will create an impact with us:

You will be responsible for the product management of our products VELUM, VESTIS and JUPITER;
You will be doing economic and market analyses to identify valuable features and markets for our products;
You will be in direct contact with potential and existing customers to document and prioritize requirements;
You will ensure maximizing our business value by developing a product roadmap and prioritizing features.
You will closely work with our development teams, creating and prioritizing user-stories, as well as making sure development is steered to maximizing product value.

Your profile

3 years of experience in Product Management/Product Owner roles for IT or Engineering companies;
Experience in Agile concepts like Kanban and Scrum;
Strong communication skills as well as experience in stakeholder management;
Ability to understand high level technical concepts;
Fluency in English and German language;
A hands-on and proactive work style, with the ability to skilfully articulate and present your ideas to your team.

Du wirst ein integraler Bestandteil unseres Produkt Teams sein, das dafür verantwortlich ist, eine hochleistungsfähige KI-Plattform, die auf verformbare Materialien spezialisiert ist, ins Leben zu rufen. Sie läuft in all unseren Roboterprodukten und umfasst ein Framework zum Trainieren von KI-Modellen, eine Middleware zum Ausführen einer konfigurierbaren Pipeline mit KI-Modellen und Computer-Vision-Algorithmen auf einem Edge-Device sowie eine Benutzeroberfläche zur Konfiguration, Kalibrierung und Überwachung.

Als unser neuer Product Owner (m/w/d) VELUM, VESTIS und JUPITER bist du ein wichtiger Bestandteil unseres Teams. Du bist verantwortlich für unser Produkte Velum und Jupiter eine Roadmap zu entwickeln, sowie den Markt und Kundenbedürfnisse zu analysieren. Du sorgst dafür das das Produktentwicklungsteam in der Lage ist den Produktwert zu maximieren. Du arbeitest eng mit unserem Management im Bereich der Budgetierung und Abstimmung der Produkt Roadmap zusammen. Du definierst, priorisierst und verfeinerst User-Stories und koordinierst mit dem Entwicklungsteams, um eine Wertmaximierung des Produktes zu erreichen. Als Schnittstelle zwischen Kunden, Stakeholdern und Entwicklern sorgst du dafür das alle auf ein gemeinsames Ziel hinarbeiten.

Was du bei uns verändern wirst:

Du bist verantwortlich für unsere Produkte, VELUM und JUPITER;
Du führst Markt- und Wirtschafltichkeitsanalysen durch um die Rentabilität von Märkten und Funktionen zu ermitteln;
Du bist zur Priorisierung von Funktionen und Anforderungen im Kontakt mit bestehenden und potenziellen Kunden;
Du stellst sicher das in der Entwicklung der Wert unserer Produkte durch eine priorisierte Produktroadmap maximiert wird;
Du arbeitest eng mit unserem Entwicklungsteams zusammen, erstellst und priorisierst Userstories und stellst sicher das sich die Entwicklung auf die maximale Wertschöpfung des Produktes konzentriert.

Dein Profil

Drei Jahre Erfahrung als Produktmanager oder Product Owner mit einem Software- oder Robotik-Produkt.
Erfahrung im arbeiten mit Agilen Methoden wie Kanban und Scrum
Starke Kommunikationsfähigkeit, sowie Erfahrung im Stakeholder Management
Fähigkeit grobe technische Konzepte zu verstehen.
Fließend in Deutsch und Englisch
Du hast einen praktischen, proaktiven Arbeitsstil und bist in der Lage, deine Ideen gekonnt zu artikulieren und deinem Team zu präsentieren.
