Your mission

At sewts we automate what others can’t. Gripping of deformable materials like textiles is a task most humans see as intuitive and simple. However, this is a complicated task for robots as they lack the detailed and contextual understanding of where and with what level of sensitivity to handle these textiles. As deep-tech enthusiasts, we teach industrial robots human perception skills.

We are building a foundational technology stack called sewts.JUPITER. JUPITER uses genAI to simulate realistically the behavior of deformable & soft objects to create corresponding computer vision models and grabbing strategies. Based on our physical AI first time ever robots get enabled to handle soft & deformable materials. With over €10M in funding we will bring automation into all untapped industries, like cloth manufacturing, textiles handling, recycling & e-commerce.

You will be an integral part of our JUPITER Software Team, which is responsible for bringing a highly performant AI platform, specialised on deformable materials, to life. It runs in all our robotic products, which comprises a framework to train AI models, a middleware to run a configurable pipeline including AI models, computer vision algorithms on an edge device, and a user interface for configuration, calibration, and monitoring.

As our new Senior Cloud Engineer (m/f/d), you will be an integral part of our Software Team. You will work in our Scrum Team and be responsible to conceptualize and deploy our cloud architecture together with our Technical Leads. You will implement and deploy our Software Plattform that provides physical AI for robotic use cases in the industrial field. You will support the team with the usage of Docker as well as setting up/maintaining CI/CD workflows.

How you will create an impact with us:

You will be responsible for developing and deploying our cloud solution on GCP;
You will conceptualise suitable technology stacks and software components;
You will develop a scalable solution with Django, Vue.js and Python in the cloud as well as connect it to onsite devices;
You will create features for our frontend user interface to configure and calibrate our products.
You will implement Containerised Solutions as well as improve our CI/CD workflow.

Your profile

You have finished studies in Computer Science or a similar subject;
You have already gathered at least 2 years of work experience at a company as a Cloud Engineer;
You have expert knowledge in the Cloud Environment, GIT, CI/CD and Docker;
You have good programming skills in Python and experience with Django;
You have a hands-on, proactive work style, with the ability to skilfully articulate and present your ideas to your team member;
You have professional experience in GCP (a big plus);
You have programming skills in JavaScript and knowledge in Vue.js (a big plus).

Als unser neuer Senior Cloud Engineer (m/w/d) bist du ein integraler Bestandteil unseres Software-Teams. Du arbeitest in unserem Scrum-Team und bist gemeinsam mit unseren Technical Leads verantwortlich dafür, unsere Cloud-Architektur zu konzipieren und bereitzustellen. Du implementierst und stellst unsere Software-Plattform bereit, die physische KI für robotergestützte Anwendungsfälle im industriellen Bereich bietet. Du unterstützt das Team bei der Nutzung von Docker sowie beim Einrichten und Warten von CI/CD-Workflows.

So machst du bei uns einen Unterschied:

Du bist verantwortlich für die Entwicklung und Bereitstellung unserer Cloud-Lösung auf GCP;
Du konzipierst geeignete Technologie-Stacks und Softwarekomponenten;
Du entwickelst eine skalierbare Lösung mit Django, Vue.js und Python in der Cloud und verbindest diese mit Onsite-Geräten;
Du erstellst Funktionen für unsere Frontend-Benutzeroberfläche, um unsere Produkte zu konfigurieren und zu kalibrieren;
Du implementierst containerisierte Lösungen und verbesserst unseren CI/CD-Workflow.

Dein Profil

Du hast ein Studium der Informatik oder eines ähnlichen Fachgebiets abgeschlossen;
Du hast bereits zwei Jahre Berufserfahrung als Cloud Engineer in einem Unternehmen gesammelt;
Du hast Expertenwissen im Cloud-Umfeld, GIT, CI/CD und Docker;
Du verfügst über gute Programmierkenntnisse in Python und Erfahrung mit Django;
Du hast eine praxisorientierte, proaktive Arbeitsweise und kannst deine Ideen gekonnt im Team präsentieren und kommunizieren;
Erfahrung mit GCP ist von Vorteil;
Programmierkenntnisse in JavaScript und Kenntnisse in Vue.js sind ein Plus.
